First Album : Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift is the eponymous debut studio album by American country-pop singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. The album was released on October 24, 2006 when Swift was just 16 years old, by Big Machine Records. Swift wrote songs for the album during her freshman year of high school and has writing credits on all of the albums' songs including those co-written with Liz Rose. Swift experimented to record the album with several album producers, ultimately choosing the producer of her demo album, Nathan Chapman. Musically, the album is country music styled and lyrically, it speaks of romantic relationships, a couple of which Swift wrote from observing relationships before being in one.
Taylor Swift was received positively by contemporary critics, who praised Swift's talent. The album enjoyed commercial success; in the United States, it rose to number five on the Billboard 200, topped the Top Country Albums Chart for twenty-four non-consecutive weeks, and was certified five times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Taylor Swift marked the longest stay on the Billboard 200 by any album released in the decade. It also charted in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Five singles were released from the album, all of which were certified platinum by the RIAA. "Tim McGraw" was released as the lead single from Taylor Swift; it became a top ten on Billboard's Hot Country Songs. "Teardrops on My Guitar" was released as the second single from Taylor Swift, becoming the best-charting song from Taylor Swift on the Billboard Hot 100. "Our Song" was released as the third single from the album and became Swift's first number-one on Hot Country Songs. "Picture to Burn" and "Should've Said No" were released as the fourth single and fifth single from the album, respectively, both becoming a success on the country-genre charts in the United States and the latter peaking at number eighteen on the New Zealand Singles Chart. Swift promoted Taylor Swift by performing at several venues, which included her opening for Rascal Flatts, George Strait, Brad Paisley, and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

Second Album : Fearless
Fearless is the second studio album by American country-pop singer Taylor Swift. The album was released on November 11, 2008 by Big Machine Records. As with her debut, Swift wrote or co-wrote all thirteen tracks on Fearless. Most of the songs were written as the singer promoted Taylor Swift as opening act for numerous country artists. Because of the unavailability of collaborators on the road, Swift resulted in self-penning eight songs. Other songs were co-written with Liz Rose, Hillary Lindsey, Colbie Caillat, and John Rich. She also made her debut as a record producer, co-producing all songs on the album with Nathan Chapman. To promote the album, the singer embarked on her first headlining concert tour, the Fearless Tour, which expanded from April 2009 to June 2010.
Fearless was an international breakthrough in commercial success for Swift. In the United States, it topped the Billboard 200 for eleven non-consecutive weeks, thus setting various records, including becoming the longest chart-topper by a female country artist. With 3.2 million copies sold in 2009, the album became the year's best-seller, making Swift, 20 at the time, the youngest artist to have one. Furthermore, it became the only album to elapse a full year in the top ten of the Billboard 200. With 6,586,000 copies sold, Fearless is the second biggest-selling album in the last five years (just behind Adele's 21, with over 9.4 million copies). Elsewhere, Fearless topped charts in Canada and New Zealand and achieved multi-platinum status in six countries. In the Philippines, it was certified nine times platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI), marking the album's highest certification. In all, Fearless has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.[2][3]
Five singles spawned from Fearless. The lead single, "Love Story" is Swift's best-selling effort to date, selling over five million copies in the United States alone. It was a crossover hit that became one of the best-selling singles of all time internationally and was once the best-selling country song of all time. The succeeding single, "White Horse" was unable to match the success of "Love Story", but performed well in the US. "You Belong with Me" fared better internationally, becoming Swift's second best-selling single and her highest position on the US Billboard Hot 100 at the time, peaking at number two. "Fifteen" and the title track followed; the latter became the first single certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) prior to its release. The album was later re-released on October 26, 2009, as Fearless: Platinum Edition with six additional new songs, photos from the Fearless Tour and a bonus DVD featuring behind the scenes of some of her previous music videos.

Third Album : Speak Now
Speak Now is the third studio album by American singer–songwriter Taylor Swift, released on October 25, 2010, by Big Machine Records. Production for the album took place during 2008 to 2010 at several recording studios, and was handled by Swift and country music producer Nathan Chapman. Written entirely by Swift as the follow-up to Fearless (2008), Speak Now expands on the country pop style of her previous work, and features lyrical themes concerning love, romance and heartbreak. A deluxe edition was released on the same day exclusively to US Target stores; it contained three extra bonus tracks and two acoustic versions as well as a pop remix of "Mine". Internationally, another deluxe edition was released containing the same three bonus songs and acoustic songs, and three US versions. In 2012, the Target exclusive was released to a wider distribution in the US.
Six singles were released from the album. "Mine" was released as the lead single on August 4, 2010 instead of August 16 due to it leaking online prior to its release. The second single, "Back to December", was released on November 11, 2010. The third single, "Mean", was released on March 7, 2011 and a little over a month later on April 19, 2011 the fourth single, "The Story of Us", was released only to mainstream radio. The fifth single, "Sparks Fly" was released on July 18, 2011 and was the first single since "You Belong with Me" to reach number one on Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The final single "Ours" was released as promotional single on November 8, 2011 and was released to country radio on December 5, 2011 and was the second single from Speak Now to peak at number one on the Hot Country Songs chart.
Speak Now received generally positive reviews from music critics, who complimented Swift's songwriting and themes. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling approximately 1,047,000 units in its first week. Due to strong digital sales, all fourteen songs from the standard edition of the album charted on the Billboard Hot 100, with the lead single "Mine" having the highest peak of number three. The album was also an international success, charting within the top 10 in several countries, including Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Swift promoted the album with an international tour, Speak Now World Tour, throughout 2011. According to Swift's label Big Machine Records, as of September 2011, Speak Now has sold over five million copies worldwide.[2] The album has been certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and, as of August 2012, has sold 4,153,000 copies in the United States.

Fourth Album : Red
Red is the upcoming fourth studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It is scheduled to be released on October 22, 2012 by Big Machine Records, as the follow-up to her commercially successful 2010 album Speak Now.[1] It was announced through Swift's live webchat on August 13, 2012, in which she revealed the album title, album cover, as well as answered fan questions. During it she premiered the record's lead single, titled "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", which was released to Google Play later that day.[2] There will be 16 tracks on the album, not including possible bonus material. Swift said she narrowed down the track list from about 35 songs. Swift has confirmed that a duet with Ed Sheeran, which they co-wrote, will be on the album.[3][4] Swift stated that starting on September 24, 2012, clips of some of the new songs off of Red will be premiering on Good Morning America.[5]
